Strong Guy from Naked & Famous is a classic selvedge jean made from Japanese denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms. This production method produces the distinctive selvedge edge and a dense, durable denim that develops distinct fades over time.
The denim weighs 14.5oz , making it medium to medium-heavy compared to classic raw denim. The fabric is made from 100% cotton and will gradually mold to your body through use.
The Strong Guy fit features a high waist, ample room in the seat and thighs, and a straight leg with a wide leg opening. The result is a relaxed workwear silhouette inspired by vintage jeans.
The denim fabric is woven in Japan, while the jeans are cut and sewn in Canada.
Dirty Fade Selvedge is a 14.5oz Japanese selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms in right hand twill .
The warp yarn is rope-dyed in indigo , but the cotton fibers themselves start out a natural dusty brown . As the jeans are worn, the layers of indigo gradually wear away, revealing the warm brown undertones in the yarn. This gives the fabric the characteristic effect that has given it the name Dirty Fade .
Instead of the classic white contrast fades seen in traditional indigo denim, this denim develops warm, earthy fades that give a more natural and "built-in" look over time.

Selvedge denim is denim woven on traditional shuttle looms where the fabric is produced in narrow strips. This weaving method creates a clean, finished edge along the outer edge of the fabric – the selvedge – which prevents the denim from fraying.
The result is a denser and more durable fabric that develops character and personal fades over time.
