The High Noon Selvedge from Naked & Famous Denim is a light and summery raw denim inspired by the bright blue found in vintage jeans from the 1950s and 60s. The fabric is designed to provide a classic denim feel, but in a weight that makes the jeans comfortable even in warmer temperatures.
The denim is woven in Japan from 10oz selvedge denim. To achieve its characteristic light indigo color, the yarn is dipped fewer times in the indigo bath than with traditional dark raw denim. The result is a bright and clear denim fabric that will still develop fades over time, but with more subtle contrasts than heavier and darker raw denim.
The fabric is woven on traditional shuttle looms, creating the distinctive selvedge edge that makes selvedge denim sought after among denim enthusiasts. The jeans are then cut and sewn in Naked & Famous' factory in Canada, with a focus on durable materials and precise construction.
The details are classic: contrast stitching, button fly, copper-colored rivets, a red selvedge ID, and a natural leather patch.
