The Wide Leg Trouser – Natural Indigo Indigo from Naked & Famous is a modern interpretation of classic work pants, inspired by vintage workwear and traditional men's trousers with front pleats. The design combines the clean silhouette of dress pants with robust Japanese denim.
The trousers are made from 13 oz Japanese denim dyed with natural indigo. The indigo is produced by fermenting the Indigofera plant, a traditional dyeing method that creates a vibrant blue color with subtle tonal variation. The fabric is 100% cotton and will develop characteristic fades and patina over time.
The fit is a wide-leg model with a medium rise. The front features two pleats that provide extra volume in the thighs and create a relaxed, straight silhouette down to the leg opening. The result is a pair of trousers that combines comfort and freedom of movement with a distinct vintage feel.
Naked & Famous is known for using unusual Japanese textiles and producing garments without artificial distressing or excessive treatment. The fabric is produced in Japan, while the garment is cut and sewn in Canada.
